Portland Central Young Life is focused on mentoring, supporting and empowering youth in the inner city of Portland.

Ninja Nights – Michael has combined his passion for "Ninja Warrior" and obstacle course athletics along with youth empowerment to host "Ninja Night" events with youth from Portland Central Young Life. The events provide a no cost opportunity for the high school students and their mentors to take on obstacles at a local Ninja Warrior gym and see what it's like to tackle some of the challenges they've seen on the TV show. The ultimate goal is for the students to build confidence, perseverance, and an appreciation for a new athletic challenge that is both fun and healthy.
